Where can you ship?
We ship anywhere in the world! So if you're enjoying the Swiss Alps and need to get Trapezy™ shipped to your chateau, we can do it.

Trapezy™ will not install
Currently Trapezy™ is not an Adobe® certified plug-in. Make sure that your settings allow you to load plug-ins that are not Adobe® Certified.

Will Trapezy™ work with protected files?
No. Trapezy™ only works on files that are not password protected or encrypted. Simply change the settings for the password protection, run Trapezy™, and then include the password protection.

How often do you update?
We are committed to providing the most comprehensive database available. Currently, our database has over 10,000 federal and state forms. We are constantly updating the database throughout the year and we will alert our users of the change so that they can come to the site and download a free upgrade. That's right, there is no fee for upgrades in Trapezy™. As we update the database, our users get the immediate benefit of our efforts immediately. Certainly, once new forms for each year become available our users will need to pay a nominal amount for the next year's release Trapezy™. Click here for the latest updated version of Trapezy™.

Do you send a CD?
Our software is deliverable strictly by download; we update so frequently that a CD would be obsolete almost by the time you received it (additionally, we would have to add shipping and sales tax to our cost). So if your computer crashes or if you buy a new computer, just let us know and we will email you a new download link and registration key (we do this all the time).

Can I load the software on more than one computer?
Our license is a little more realistic than most. The license is for one primary user on his or her office desktop and laptop. We would respectfully ask that you purchase additional licenses for your assistant or other professionals in the office. Please note that we provide a discount for bulk purchases.

I have a Mac, will your software work on it?
Currently Trapezy™ does not work with the Mac OS. If you have a new dual-core Mac which supports both the Mac OS and Windows, the program will run in the Windows VM. We are currently evaluating whether there is enough interest to provide a MAC version. If you are a MAC user, please let us know immediately so that we can evaluate accordingly.

Do I need to buy Adobe® Acrobat®?
Yes. Trapezy™ is a plug-in for Adobe® Acrobat®. This is a different than Adobe® Reader® which you can download for free at www.adobe.com. Currently Adobe® Reader® does not allow for plug-ins.

Does Trapezy™ work with other PDF types of software?
Currently, Trapezy™ only works with Adobe® Acrobat®, however, we are currently exploring other products like Nuance's PDF Converter 5.0 which allows for plug-ins. If you are a non-Adobe® Acrobat® user and would like a separate plug-in, please let us know so that we can evaluate accordingly.

How long does it take to process a tax return?
We have noticed processing speeds between .5 and 2 seconds per page. With any optical character recognition software, there are two attributes that we are constantly trying to enhance. Unfortunately the two do not move in the same direction. As accuracy improves, speed is compromised and vice versa. However, we have found that with scans that are black and white and the scan quality is between 200 and 300 DPI, our processing speed is less than two seconds per page and with a 99% accuracy rating. So if you scan a 30 page tax return, it will take about a minute. However, if the tax return has been printed directly to PDF, it is possible to take less than 30 seconds.
